"I joined stage prophets when I was 13 years old. In the basement of Saint Joseph’s church in Kentville I saw a group of teenagers do Godspell and knew I wanted to be a part it. I continue to find myself coming back to this company not just because I enjoy being on stage but because this company is a family. The people I have met through SP have turned into people I cannot imagine my life without. SP has given me and has taught me many things in my life. Lifelong friendships, many lessons such as taking a disappointment and turning it into something positive and being proud of what you do and of yourself every day. Since Jesus Christ Superstar, I have been grateful to return to this supportive and generous group of talented and selfless people who inspire and encourage each other with energy and enthusiasm. Each year, I meet new friends and reunite with old friends, excited to contribute to the ever-growing and inclusive circumference of love and joy at the heart of this community. With each production, against so many odds, we prove that a community of shared vision, creativity, and passion can achieve what seems almost impossible.
