About Us
Our vision is to build a community of joy where everyone is welcome to experience the exceptional.
Stage Prophets began in 2002 in the Annapolis Valley, Nova Scotia, with 16 youth performing in the basement of a church. From those simple beginnings, we've grown into a vibrant community of over 200 cast members - ranging in age from 1 to 85 - who bring yearly sold-out productions to Festival Theatre in Wolfville. Our goal is to promote a healthy community spirit through the arts while inspiring both personal and community growth!
More Than Theatre...
In addition to creating high-quality productions, we use the stage to shine a light on important issues in our community - homelessness, poverty, the refugee experience, and the rich culture of our local First Nations peoples. Theatre is our way of sparking dialogue, empathy and understanding.
